Without the Gatekeeper, the weapon would be a hand-held bomb. The energy travels up through the Field Energizers, turning raw power into plasma.

The Crystal Chamber: The Spiritual Interface

The Primary Crystal Mount houses the Kyber Crystal. This is not just a lens; it is the soul of the weapon. The raw plasma passes through the crystal, which aligns the energy with the Force and  imparts the blade's color and frequency. The crystal "sings" to the emitter, determining the blade's  stability.
